Walking and cycling
If you want to enjoy hiking, Noord-Beveland is the place to be. Walking on Noord-Beveland gives you the ultimate island feeling. From the dikes, you have panoramic views over the Veerse Meer Lake or the Oosterschelde estuary, but also over the typical polder landscape. Noord-Beveland has no less than 75 kilometres of walking network. Various routes are connected in the walking network. Where the paths cross, there is a junction number. It does not matter whether you walk left or right. At reception, you can buy a walking map of Eindeloos Eiland Noord-Beveland with junctions.
You can also discover the beautiful nature of our Endless Island by bike. No bicycle with you on holiday? You can hire one at reception! Cycle routes are also available at reception, take a trip around the Veerse Meer or make a beautiful tour using the junction map.
The "Eindeloos Eiland" Mountain Bike Network Noord-Beveland takes you across much of the island and takes you along the three waters: the North Sea, the Oosterschelde and the Veerse Meer. Noord-Beveland has 3 MTB routes, ranging from 21 km to 37 km. A combination of these 3 routes amounts to about 75 km.
The routes go through 7 woods, 2 inlagen, a ferry, singletracks, shell paths, gravel paths, ponds, dykes and creeks. The routes are interconnected. The map shows the connections, making it easy to switch from one route to another. There is an information panel at each starting point. The routes themselves are marked with the familiar international symbols. The tip of the arrow indicates the direction.
